Why Do People Want to Be Famous?

I never thought myself that I want to be famous. So, sometimes I wonder why people want to be famous? For money and acknowledgement? Is it worth it to sacrifice your own private life? Yes, of course sometime I feel a little envy when celebrity show up on camera looks gorgeous. But, I have never wanted a life like them. Where every camera is always following you everywhere you go.

I am a private person, so having my private life in the open is a big NO. I see celebrities managed to create a sensation by competing with other celebrities or sometime lie about their life. That is not the life I want to lead. I guess there is one good thing about being celebrity. You got to be acknowledge anywhere and you can earn lots of money from that fame. Again, the question goes to the first one, is it worth it?
